Baltimore Ravens are AFC CHAMPS!!! Heading to New Orleans!

Baltimore Raven's AFC CHAMPS!!!  Heading to New Orleans!

It's an exciting time in Baltimore, the Baltimore Ravens have just won the AFC.  The superbowl will be knows as the HAR-BOWL as the Harbaugh brothers will face each other at the Superbowl in New Orleans.

Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and John Harbaugh, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens will face each other in the Superbowl.  The pride that must be exploding in the Harbaugh family must be overwhelming.  The winner will have bragging rights for years to come.

The next two weeks in Baltimore will be nothing but PURPLE!

As I watch our players be interviewed by the media, I am proud and humbled.  Our guys are spiritual and spirited.  The love they show for their team, for our city, for God, is inspiring.  It is fun to be a part of the team, yelling in my living room and cheering our guys on!

There has been so much adversity that has faced this team, injuries and loss, and here we are. We have been counted out, underdogs for the last couple games of the season.   Ray Lewis, one of our most loved players, a 17 year Raven, announced his retirement at the end of this season. The team and the city is surrounding him and pulling for a ring for him and for our whole team.

Joe Flacco, a University of Delaware grad (GO BLUE HENS!), my alma mater, is doing amazing things as our quarterback.  I met Joe when I was a freshman, one of my RA's dated him for a while.  He was a good guy then, wish I would have gotten to be his friend!  He has been loved (Wacko for Flacco) and he has been vilified.  He's back to being the hero, playing like the champ he is!

The Team of Destiny will be amazing to watch.  Tonight I am proud to be from Baltimore.  I am proud to be a Raven's fan.  I am looking forward to an East Coast/West Coast Harbowl.  I will be wishing I could be in New Orleans, but I will be thrilled to put on my Raven's gear and cheer on MY team!   I just know they can feel our Passion!

The teams that make it to the Superbowl have shown that they can hold up under pressure, can physically dominate the other teams and have heart.  As for me, I don't think there is another team with the HEART of the Baltimore Raven's.  As long as we take a breath, say a prayer and settle in to our own, we will be SuperBowl Champs 2013!!!

GO RAVEN'S!
