MSP Polar Bear Plunge - 15th Anniversary  (FROM THE PLUNGE MD Website....)

It's the 15th Anniversary of the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge - keeping Maryland COOL since 1997! Let the fun begin and be a part of all the chills and thrills of PlungeFest 2011 on January 29 at Sandy Point State Park. It's not just an event - it's an experience that has become a winter-time tradition for thousands of warm-hearted Plungers! And it all benefits Maryland's children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Check out all the latest info at http://www.plungemd.com.

Be a part of THE event of winter and join us for the 15th Anniversary MSP Polar Bear Plunge where, for just $50 in pledges, Plunge participants take a quick dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland, the state's largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Anyone can participate! (Under 18 requires parent or guardian signature.)

The MSP Polar Bear Plunge benefits Special Olympics Maryland and the thousands of children and adults with intellectual disabilities who experience the life-changing benefits of participating in the organization's year-round training and competition programs - all at no cost to themselves or their families.
