Combining your passions...

Like Margaret Rome combining her passionsReal Estate, Blogging, and TLH, my husband combined passion for making his girls feel special and his passion for photography.

This is what I woke up to yesterday morning (the flowers, not the pictures!  The pictures were taken when he got home from work!)...

This made me think about how blessed I am every day to combine my passion for helping people with my ability to adjust my schedule as necessary to coordinate all aspects of my family life, training for a triathlon to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and being the best wife, mom, neice, sister I can be.

If I were a nurse or a teacher, both professions I have been told over and over again I am made for, my schedule wouldn't be my own.  I would still be able to help people, and am in awe of folks in those professions, but it would make it harder for me to combine all the things I love into my life.  Actually, I am a teacher, since one of my passions is to educate my clients and partners!  Some days I work 22 of 24 hours, some days I work 2.

I am so blessed to be in a profession that I can truly combine ALL my passions.

How are you combining your passions today?

Warm Regards,

Beautiful flowers. You're right about teaching... you're schedule is not your own, but summer off might make up for that!

Mahesh, You can check out his website at www.babybluesproductions.com

Margo, Every time I am at my daughter's school, herding cats comes to mind!  I love when the parents of my young first time  home buyers get involved. I can't imagine having 20-30 sets of parents scrutinizing my every move!  Teachers are my hero's!

Gorgeous photos. ;0) Yes our business (real estate) allows us flexibility that many other businesses do not and that I am forever grateful for. My passion for walking, feng shui, my family and animals all interact very nicely with my passion for real estate.

The flowers are breathtaking.  I'm so happy he cares enough to show you what you mean to him.  His photography is fantastic as well.

Bridget, I love how you have made time for your family, your hobbies, blogging and  real estate. You make everyone feel like they are MOST important! It  was great having you and your family with us for lunch on 2/5. Thanks for the mention  about my  passions including TLH.

Martha, I am redoing my kitchen/dining area and living room.  Maybe I should get some Feng Shui tips from you before I make any final decisions!!

Donna, Thanks so much, they are breathtaking.

Susan, I agree!  I am blessed.  He shows me every day in how he interacts with our daughter, in taking care of things around the house, in his calls "just to check in", in trips to the grocery store, in his encouragement of my personal and business pursuits, etc.  The flowers are just a bonus!

Margaret, As you know, some days are harder than others to fit everything in!  Having a great family and business partners is the only way to make it all happen.  I loved being with the AR folks and being able to have my family there was wonderful.  Sydney just adores you, I think she gets her good taste from her mother!   You inspire me to be grateful every day in my life and in my business.  THANK YOU!
