Why is a good mortgage professional so important?
I get this question a lot from potential buyers. Of course the obvious answer is that a mortgage professional will be able to help you determine how much home you can afford.
But a good mortgage professional is more than just running the credit and determining the maximum amount a person can spend on a house.
A good mortgage professional will actually talk to the clients and get to know them. That way they can discuss not just how much home they qualify for but how much home they are comfortable with.
Sometimes they may even advise people to wait to buy the home until they bring up their credit scores to a point where they can get a better interest rate.
A good mortgage professional will do as much counseling as necessary to ensure that potential buyers understand their financial commitments and how much money they will need to make their real estate ownership dreams a reality.
A good mortgage professional is someone who will partner with the real estate agent to ensure that the client feels as though their needs are being well represented and taken care of.
A good mortgage professional is a priceless ingredient in the successful real estate transaction.
