Not So Wordless Wednesday-STOP! It's going too fast!

Not So Wordless Wednesday-STOP!  It's going too fast!

Today was the last day of 1st Grade for my littlest one.  She had a wonderful year at the Lamb of God School in Halethorpe.  The change in her from September to now has been almost too much to bear.  My baby is growing up!  Her teacher, Mrs Hancock, has said that she love to teach this group because the change from when they walk in the door on that first day to the day they walk out the last is dramatic.  The children are like sponges, truly becoming their own person, and taking it all in!  My girly is no exception.

The days are going too fast.  When I think back to the day we found out that we were expecting, it seems like yesterday.  We were so full of joy, having waited 15 years to have a child together until the boys were older.  God has blessed us with a kid with an amazing sense of humor, an open and honest heart, a thirst for knowledge and who is just pretty darn awesome.  I couldn't be more proud!

Bridget, your daughter is just precious! :)  Congratulations on 1st grade graduation and a happy summer to your family! We LOVE summertime with its more laid-back schedule (ok maybe not in real estate...but in kid/school-related activities!)

Bridget, congratulations to you and especially to Miss Sydney.  She is a wonderful child and will grow into a wonderful young woman (I imagine much like her wonderful Mom).

Hang on, Bridget!  I can tell you from experience ... it only starts to go faster and gets more mind-numbing.  I'm watching grandchildren go through this and I'm pinching myself every few seconds!  So glad you're enjoying your Sydney.  What a cutie!  But of course, she looks just like her Momma ...

Oh how I hear you Bridget! I just cannot believe that 1st Grade is over and done with ... it feels like yesterday that I saw her off teary-eyed for her 1st day of Kindergarden!
