Sponsorship of Community Teams in Catonsville

Sponsorship of Community Teams in Catonsville

Summer for our family has always meant lots of time at our local community pool.  I grew up nearby and our family joined Westview Pool, now known as the Crosby Crossing Swim Club, when I was a kid.  When my sons (now 21 and 22) were young, it was a great place for them to meet new friends, get exercise and for us to spend time together. They loved their time as Crosby Crossing SAILFISH.

Sydney joined the swim team when she was only 4 years old. Her first swim meet she was very excited.  When she won her heat, she yelled "Mama, I won all the kids!"  I was a little concerned about sportsmanship until her second stroke, coming in 3rd, she said, "Wow Mama, did you see that girl, she was EVEN faster than me!"

She has loved every minute, even the practices!  She has always been half fish, loving the water and truly enjoying the sport.  Each Saturday morning through the end of July is spent at pools from Crofton to Reisterstown. Almost all the parents volunteer in some capacity...some work the snack bar, act as stroke and turn judges, table workers, announcers or timers.  It's a fun time, out in the sun cheering on kids from both teams as they make their way across the pool.  For most of the kids, they compete against their previous time as much or more than against the other kids.  The swim team has been a big part of our summers for many years, and now I am able to help support the team!

Team Sponsorship Opportunity Catonsville, MD

Crosby Crossing Swim Team is a community based swim club with a tradition of hard work, team spirit and community involvement. Swimming gives boys and girls the opportunity to have fun while developing self-confidence, physical conditioning, self- discipline, goal setting skills, time management and sportsmanship.

I am excited to sponsor our team this year and hope that other local businesses and individuals will step up to help the kids.

If you may be interested in sponsoring the Sailfish for the summer season, please call me for information at 410-960-2061!

Sponsoring local children's events is a great way to support the community for generations to come.  Good luck to Sydney this year!!

June, I agree. I have great memories of team sports and we always had awesome business sponsors who helped to keep the cost to join down for all involved!  It's my turn to pay it forward!

Hi Bridget, I really like the banner, it's well done! Sponsoring the team your child is part of is another great way to stay involved. I may have to look into that for Amelie's gymnastics.

Go Sydney!
