You Can't Get Business From Facebook!

You can't get business from Facebook!

I see some "business professionals" that write every post on their regular facebook feed as a commercial.  If you ask me, that is NOT the best way to get business.  It makes me want to block those folks like Farmville or Build your restaurant or those other annoying apps.

Several months ago I was referred to a wonderful client (Ms. W) by another fabulous friend/client.  Ms. W. tagged me in a post raving about her refi in what seemed like minutes after I left the closing.  I got a call the next day from one of her friends.

This is the message I was tagged in today on Facebook...talk about a raving fan!  I have blocked out the pictures and names to protect their privacy.  The original referer jumped on the bandwagon on this post too!

I have already been contacted by one friend and per Ms W, I should get another call from the one she intended to reach out to! She called her facebook post a "public service announcement."

All I can say is WOW!  I am honored and flattered!  If only all of our raving fans were so kind!

Good for you, I just don't get all the gossip on FB and since we do 77% of our business is referrals we just play it safe and stay off the sites

Facebook is not about lead generation. It is about contact management and staying connected to those people constantly. Every time you comment on their post or they comment on yours, there is a chance THEIR friends will see you. You can get business from Facebook, but it comes from the relationships you nurture constantly.

I FRIEND as many as possible on Fb and I am surprised at how many agents do not have BUSINESS pages that feed to their personal timeline....they are REALLY missing out

Bridget - congratulations on having such a "raving fan".  It is indeed a "public service announcement" by someone not related to you - to share such good work.

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend!
